About Thanos
Thanos – Santorini Photographer
Thanos is a professional photographer based in Santorini, Greece, specializing in proposals, couples, engagements, and vacation photoshoots. Originally from Athens and living on the island for more than 15 years, he has developed a deep connection with Santorini and its unique landscapes.
With extensive experience photographing couples and travelers from all over the world, Thanos focuses on creating natural, authentic images that capture real emotions rather than posed moments. His style is inspired by documentary photography, allowing each session to unfold naturally while he guides clients through the most beautiful locations on the island.
Santorini’s dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and breathtaking caldera views provide the perfect setting for unforgettable photographs. Knowing the island intimately, Thanos can recommend both iconic viewpoints and quieter hidden spots that offer stunning scenery and a relaxed atmosphere.
From surprise proposals and engagement sessions to couples, families, and solo travelers, every photoshoot is approached with the same philosophy: making people feel comfortable, confident, and fully present in the moment.
His goal is simple: to create timeless images that reflect the beauty of Santorini and the genuine emotions of the people in front of the camera.
